Resolved Guilt

On the ledge
in someone else’s
head, she embraces
the shame concealed
on the edge of insanity,
she begs faith for one
last wish, pleading for liberation
from the guilt over the nothingness
occupying space in the void
that is her life
in the pastime;
she suffers from blame,
the blame she knows
not for what.
The remedy escaped
with a picture in her heart.
Voices echo shame
that she knows not from where.
“I stitched your heart,
and healed you by embracing your scars,
So relax in my arms
the guilt in your bones
evaporates with my forgiveness.”
