Does my tongue’s affection
change what you think of me?
It’d be astute to touch my body
and quiver within your skin.
Wouldn’t you like to know
what I’m like on the phone?
To hear my voice or speak
through a voice-to-text is yours
to explain when we’re done
because we both know
that this will never work out.
