Three Words Locked Away

If I had ignored Anna’s blunder, would she have stayed? My thoughts drifted to her beaming blue eyes as I shivered outside. Anna’s long, red-shimmering locks spiraled to the small of her back and were easy on the eyes. On her bedroom floor, she winked with a sultry grin of fun. The words I’d stumbled over, ones tinged with pitiful timidity, were replaced with what I’d locked away. The terms are planned based on my conditions. Three words I thought would never leave my mouth again.
