“It’s hard,” Ben told Amber on an isolated park bench.
“Ugh… that’s fucking disgusting,” Amber said, crinkling her eyes. “You okay, dude?”
“I mean, it’s hard—”
“Yeah, I got that part. That’s like too much information, babe.”
“No,” Ben said, raking his fingers through his hair. “It’s just so hard to—”
“You trying to say you want to fuck me? Because I’m a…” Amber trailed off in thought. “I’m a virgin. I’m a good Christian girl, and I’d like to keep it that way.”
Ben folded his lips under his teeth.
“Don’t believe me, do you?” Amber said, raising a defensive brow. “Is that all you wanted? To get into my pants?”

Ben gripped her wrist before she could turn to leave. “It’s hard to admit—”
“Admit what?” Amber tilted her head.
“So, it’s like this. I want to kiss you so hard that your lips bleed.”
Amber placed her hand over her heart, brushing a tear with her free hand. “Are you saying I didn’t get you hard?”
We both laughed hard.
