I’ve heard it all before;
I don’t think I can take
much more of these changes
of faces, leaning on the wall
of a self-fulfilling prophesy until we fall,
fall into each other’s lives
with infatuated grenades
exploding as we learn
what it means to say I fell for you,
not only your beauty
but everything about you.
