Forever After Death Together

A lonely grave — I crawled out of with a wink and a smile as your voice rang through my head; I studied the better part of last year when you weren’t like you are today. Loose around the edges, soaked with bloody clothes, the house was on fire. You said till death do we part with mascara streaming your face. The truth isn’t like you, but you told it, anyway. I’ll torment you when darkness falls thick; sleep with one eye open. Plug your ears so you don’t hear me whisper: I love you loud enough for only you to hear. In the depth of your dreams, I’ll influence you with thoughts under a breath. Now we’re even.
