I’m Not a Stalker (I just Followed You Home)

Looking back, I told myself I never would. The tears in your voice pulled goosebumps along the thousands of cuts of words I should have left collecting dust, dripping blood from my palms, caught my tongue with a misplaced thought.

I crawled across the sand and broken glass through a small town without a map. I found you by the scent of your regret. And here I am, waiting for an apology, but I’ll settle on forgiveness.
