Redemption

A man worthy of death receives his sentence. Not even the guilt and shame could wipe away the stain of regret.

Soon to be strapped on a gurney, a man calls out to a man said to be the remedy. He opens his eyes, hoping it’s not a lie.

A man with cotton wool hair, olive skin, holes in his wrists; he allowed him to touch, stood above and gripped his arm, and laid down in place of him, telling the man He had paid the price.
