“Oh…don’t act like you’ve never thought of it,” Amy said, taking a quick sip of fresh coffee.
“Think about what?” I shrugged, staring into the fireplace, then observed the stockings hung neatly, as do they in Hallmark Christmas movies.
“You know about…”
“No, I don’t. What are you getting at?” I raised a cliche spit-it-out-already brow.
Amy shifted her body, giving me her undivided attention, although I wasn’t sure if I wanted her conspiracy theories now.
“Don’t act like you’ve never thought about fucking me inches from a Christmas tree.”
I spat the coffee I’d decided to drink at the wrong time.
Amy laughed hard.
I wiped my mouth with a Christmas-themed cloth.
Amy pushed herself to her feet, raised then lowered her arms. “What are you waiting for? Unwrap me.”
