Buried Late

Before me, time stands still as if a whisper caught its tongue. Seconds stopped cold at dawn, taking the watch that turned into a compass stuck at 12 and 3 — a needle and the damage done to the setting sun brings the broken glass to a morbid plan still — saying her name in a funeral home.
